Selma Lassiter Davis, 88, formerly of Cape Colony, died Oct. 4, 1996.
A native of Northampton County, N.C., Mrs. Davis was the oldest charter member of the Albemarle Baptist Church, Edenton. She was a daughter of the late William Noah and Lucy Frances Lassiter and the wife of the late Grady Elwood Davis.
Survivors include her daughter, Doris M. Gribacs of Sylvester, Ga.; and her son, Kenneth Elwood Davis of Seaford, Va.; four grandchildren and give great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Conway Cemetery, Conway. The family will receive friends in Evans Funeral Home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the St. Francis Nursing Center, 2 Ridgeway Ave., Newport News, Va.
