Local police are seeking the public's assistance in solving these cases:
NORFOLK
One man is wanted for four armed robberies - three of them at the same business.
On Sept. 7, the man robbed the Beauty Supply Company in the 400 block of Campostella Road.
The same man robbed the store again on Sept. 13 and on Sept. 18.
On Sept. 21 he robbed the Amoco service station, also in the 400 block of Campostella Road.
The suspect is described as black, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and about 150 pounds. He has short hair and a thin moustache.
In each robbery he was armed with a handgun.
On Sept. 28, at 11 p.m., a man robbed the Tinee Giant Store in the 600 block of Thole St.
He pretended to be making a purchase, but when the register opened, he pushed the cashier out of the way and took money. He ran west on Thole Street.
The robber's picture was taken by a security camera. He is described as black, 20 years old, 6 feet tall and about 160 pounds. He had short hair and was wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jean shorts.
Carnale L. James, 26, is wanted in an Aug. 13 robbery in the 1700 block of Berkley Ave.
James is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 160 pounds. His last known address was in the Berkley and Campostella area.
Sometime during the night of Sept. 9, the Bennetts Creek Market in the 3000 block of Bridge Road was burglarized.
Thieves stole a full-size Pepsi cola vending machine. It is rare for an entire machine to be taken; usually, the machines are broken into or vandalized.
VIRGINIA BEACH
Rodney Faron Medlin, 28, is wanted for numerous burglaries and grand larceny charges.
Medlin is described as white, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He has sandy brown hair and large tattoos on both arms. He is known to frequent Ocean View, Lake Edward and Churchland.
Medlin should be considered armed and dangerous.
SUFFOLK
Sometime during the night of Sept. 9, the Bennetts Creek Market in the 3000 block of Bridge Road was burglarized.
Thieves stole a full-size Pepsi cola vending machine. It is rare for an entire machine to be taken; usually, the machines are broken into or vandalized.
PORTSMOUTH
On June 24, about 7:30 p.m., the Sentry Food Mart in the 2500 block of Victory Blvd. was robbed.
A man walked up to the counter, pointed a handgun at a clerk and ordered that he not move.
The suspect then jumped over the counter, opened the cash register, took money and fled.
He was last seen running down Victory Boulevard toward George Washington Highway.
The suspect is described as black, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He was wearing a green shirt.
HAMPTON
On Sept. 19, at 11:30 a.m. an elderly man was accosted by two men in the Farm Fresh parking lot in the 600 block of East Mercury Blvd.
One of the suspects struck the victim while the second suspect took money from his pocket. The suspects then fled toward Libby Street.
