WILLIAM E. FOREHAND SR.

William E. Forehand Sr., 90, of the 3400 block of South Battlefield Blvd., died Oct. 5, 1996, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Forehand was a native of Old Norfolk County, the son of the late William and Martha Richardson Forehand and the widower of the late Edith Davis Forehand. He was the retired owner and operator of Forehand Garage and Service Station for 43 years. He was of the Disciples of Christ Faith.

Survivors include two sons, William E. Forehand Jr. and Roy E. Forehand, both of Chesapeake; two sisters, Aubrey Winslow of Chesapeake and Margaret Iacovone of Cumberland, R.I.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Tom Mercer. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
