Jesse W. Kern, 81, of the 3300 block of Ocean Shore Ave., died Oct. 6, 1996.
Born in Reading, Pa., he retired as a manufacturing representative at Warner Lambert Company after 30 years of service. He was the son of the late Howard and Katie Kern.
Survivors include his wife, Marni Kern of Virginia Beach; two sisters, June Johnson and Hazel Knabb, both of Reading, Pa.; two brothers, Clem Kern of Rehoboth, Del., and Bruce Kern of Lantana, Fla., several nieces and nephews of Reading, Pa.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family invites everyone to join them for a luncheon at Harbour Gate following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge.
