CLINTON A. QUANTRILLE JR.

Clinton A. Quantrille Jr. of the 300 block of Sir Chandler Drive, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996, at his residence.

Mr. Quantrille was born in Washington, D.C., and was self-employed in the automobile business from which he was retired. He was the son of the late Clinton A. Quantrille Sr. and Mary LaRoche Quantrille, and the husband of Janet Whalen Quantrille of the home.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Pam Hamerski of Natick, Mass., and Elizabeth Quantrille of Woodbridge, Va.; five sons, Michael Quantrille and William Quantrille, both of Annandale, Va., Daniel Quantrille of Burke, Va., Thomas Quantrille of Waynesboro, Va. and James Quantrille of Oakton, Va.; a brother, Richard Quantrille of Trenton, N.J.; and seven grandchildren.

A Mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Kill Devil Hills, by Father Terrance Collins. A Christian wake will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Twiford's Funeral Home, Manteo. The body will be sent to Francis J. Collins Funeral Home, Silver Spring, Md. for a mass to be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rockville, Md., with burial to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park in Rockville.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of the devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren, the family requests any contributions be made to Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C.
