Betty Jean Sethman, 62, died on Oct. 3, 1996, in Hillhaven Nursing Center.
She was a native of Norfolk and had lived in the Hampton Roads area all of her life.
She was the daughter of the late Lucy Virginia Hubbard and Luther Thomas Hubbard, and the sister of the late Marjore Elizabeth Alphin and Luther Thomas Hubbard Jr. She is survived by two brothers, William Edward Hubbard and Lee Hubbard, both of Hampton Roads.
A memorial service will be held at Hillhaven Nursing Center, 1148 First Colonial Road, at 1:30 p.m. today. The Rev. Marsden will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
