WHINING AMERICA

``Who killed the American Dream? (BusinessNews, Sept. 22-29) is another whining of America piece in which a group, women, is elevated/depressed to victim status.

The title suffices to show the bias. There has always been a ``dream'' but never so much blaming and complaining about reality. Those who got to New York 100 years ago frequently had a tough time, had to move west, south; later from the dust bowl to California; the south to the north - and more recently back to south.

Those people did not all make the ``dream'' come true but hard work, not whining got them through. Is every one to live like a millionaire to be considered to have achieved the ``American Dream''? If not, then what amount is enough?

This is a repetiton of the class envy propaganda of the Democratic (closet socialist) Party.
