Lois B. Smith, a resident of Guardian Care Rest Home, Roanoke Rapids, died Oct. 9, 1996, in Halifax Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Smith was born 84 years ago in the Rehoboth community of Northampton County and had lived in Portsmouth and Milwaukee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Smith, and is survived by a son, Robert E. Smith of High Point; a sister, Sarah Smith of Pine Forest Rest Home, Potecasi; three grandchildren and five great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Bethany United Methodist Church, Milwaukee, by the Rev. John Bowman. Burial will follow in Milwaukee Cemetery. Bridgers Funeral Home Inc., Conway, is in charge.
