Joyce Gail Pollert, 65, of the 100 block of Ridgewood Road, died Oct. 9, 1996, in Portsmouth.
A native of Shenandoah, Va., Mrs. Pollert was a member of South Norfolk Church of Christ and the widow of Orel L. Pollert.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeanne Bowen of Portsmouth, Donna Smith of Virginia Beach, Brenda Pollert and Karen Miller, both of Chesapeake; sons, Frederick Pollert of Virginia Beach, Steven Pollert of Chesapeake, Brian Pollert of Suffolk and Roger Pollert of Portsmouth; a sister, Jean L. Harkey of Virginia Beach; and 11 grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by Mr. Robert E. Harkey. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
