After watching the 30th Annual Country Music Association Awards Oct. 2, I was compelled to convey my feelings about the broadcast.
How refreshing to see so many entertainers and so many of their fans looking their best and wearing their best (which for many was their best jeans, hat and boots). And all were on their best behavior.
This is typical of entertainers at the Grand Ole Opry. Profanity and obscene gestures were not present. I saw lots of sincerity, a few tears and three hours of entertaining, wholesome television.
