Ruth Silver Kreger, 76, of Crawford Parkway, died Oct. 11, 1996, in her residence.
A native of Portsmouth, she was the widow of H. Sol Kreger and the daughter of the late Harry and Kate Silverman. He retired as co-owner of AAA Building and Plumbing Supply, Norfolk, and was a member of Gomley Chesed Synagogue.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Kreger Cohan of Milton, Mass.; a son, David L. Kreger of Norfolk; and four grandchildren, Seth A. Kreger, Sander Cohan, Senta Kreger and Sam Cohan.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Gomley Chesed Cemetery by Rabbi Philip S. Krohn. The family will be at 7316 Ruthven Road, Norfolk. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
