Jerome E. Henry, 60, of the 5400 block of Sir Barton Drive, died Oct. 10, 1996, at his residence.
Born in LaVernne, Minn., he retired from the Navy in 1978 as an E-6 yeoman and from Hechingers after 15 years service. Mr. Henry also worked in sales for Home Quarters Warehous. He was a Catholic and a member of County Bass Masters and Virginia Bass Federation Fleet Reserve.
Survivors include his wife, Ann C. Henry; two sons, Jerry Henry of Richmond, Brian Henry of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Mary Ruth Neulieb of Geneseo, Ill., Genevieve Van Herzele of Atkinson, Ill., Joann Carlier of Altonna, Fla., Alice Anderson of Orlando; a brother, Walter L. Henry of Geneseo; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Fr. Charles Faul of Ascension Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Virginia Bass Federation Youth Foundation, 28447 Cabin Point Road, Disputanta, Va. 23462.
