James F. Reilly, 76, of the 1200 block of Sir George Circle, died Oct. 13, 1996, in his residence.
Born in New York City, Mr. Reilly was a retired postal worker for the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife, Anne W. Reilly; two daughters, Joan Rhea, and her husband, Howard, of California, Nancy Reilly of New York; a brother; four grandchildren, James Amentler, Jill Hathaway, both of California, Joy Endicott of Ohio, Jon Amentler of Virginia Beach; two great-grandchildren, Jamie Amentler, Jordan Ann Hathaway, both of California; two nieces, Beverly Humphrey of Virginia Beach, Myrtle Neilsen of New York; a nephew, Robert Humphrey of Virginia Beach; as well as other nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by the Rev. William E. Amon. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
