Joseph Wilson Pool III, 58, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, at his residence.
A funeral will be held at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dennis Goodwin officiating. A memorial musical recital will be held at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Elizabeth City. Burial will be in Old Hollywood Cemetery, Elizabeth City. The family will receive friends at 7 p.m. today in Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, and at other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cahoon, 171 Mother Vineyard Road, Manteo. Memorial donations may be made to the church organ fund at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church of Elizabeth City or First United Methodist Church of Hertford.
