MOLLIE Y. WYNN

Mollie Yelity Wynn, 77, of the 3200 block of Downes St., died Oct. 14, 1996, in the home of her daughter.

Born in Halifax County, N.C., she was the widow of Saint T. Wynn. She was a member and deaconess of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Portsmouth.

Survivors include two daughters, Annie M. Wynn of Portsmouth, Marilyn W. White of Missouri City, Texas; two sons, Larry T. Wynn of Gates County, N.C., Ronald L. Wynn of Portsmouth; two sisters, Virginia Johnson and Ruby Cross, both of Portsmouth; two brothers, Lewis Yelity Jr. of Baltimore, Md., Richard Yelity of Portsmouth; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a daughter-in-law, Sandra S. Wynn; a son-in-law, Michael A. White; and other in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Curtis E. Edmonds Sr. Burial will be in Phillippi Baptist Church Cemetery, Cofield, N.C. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Friday.
