Billie Council Story, 71, died Oct. 13, 1996, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
A native of Southampton County, he was the son of the late Annie Glover Story and Billie Story. Mr. Story was a member of Mount Horeb Methodist Church and an Army veteran.
Survivors include two sisters, Elsie Cutchins of Franklin, Annie Mae Bobbitt of Southerland, Va.; a brother, William Story of Colonial Heights, Va.; nine nieces and five nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Lila Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in Mount Horeb Methodist Church.
