Minnie E. Burnside of the 1000 block of W. 35th St. died Oct. 11, 1996, in her home.
A native of North Carolina, Mrs. Burnside was a retired optometrist's assistant.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Burnside; a daughter, Linda Person of Norfolk; a sister, Carrie Wray of Chesapeake; two brothers, Wilford Green of Norfolk and Curtis Green of New Bern, N.C.; three grandchildren, Mack Coleman, Bryan Coleman and Shanel Person; and seven great-grandchildren; an aunt, Sarah Green of Oriental, N.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Graves Funeral Chapel by the Rev. A. Fisher. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence.
