Shirley Ann Robinson Kosma, 53, of the 3000 block of Water Oak Lane, died in Virginia Beach General Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996.
She was the daughter of the late Harry Martin Robinson and Esther Sereno Robinson of Woodbridge, Va., who survives.
Shirley was born April 25, 1943, in Leesburg, Va. She was an avid reader, amateur photographer, a Catholic and most of all a loving mother and a bossy sister.
Besides her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Ann V. Moore and Katherine L. Kosma, both of Virginia Beach, and Theresa L. Kosma of Woodbridge, Va.; two sons, Frank G. Kosma of Dallas, Texas, and John A. Kosma of Bland, Va.; three sisters, Sandra G. Jeckell and Lois Robinson, both of Woodbridge, and Vicki Thompson of Occoquian, Va.; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Celebration of Life will be held in The Church of the Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday at 3 p.m. with Fr. Richard Mooney officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday one hour prior to the service and at other times at their residence on Water Oak Lane in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorial donations be made to the Virginia Beach Public Library. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
