Robert Francis Riffle Sr., 58, of the 2600 block of Florida Ave., died Oct. 16, 1996, in Norfolk General Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Riffle and Mary Francis Riffle, and a son, Eugene Jerome Riffle. He is survived by three sons, Robert Riffle and William Riffle, both of Norfolk, and Lawrence Riffle of Gloucester, Va.; three daughters, Betty Morter of Norfolk, Deborah Miller of Virginia Beach and Barbarah Daniels of Georgia; a sister, Betty J. Riffle of Pennsylvania; four brothers, William E. Riffle of Ohio, Barry Riffle, Ben Riffle and Roy Riffle, all of West Virginia; and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 10 a.m., in the Cathedral of Praise, 715 Summer Place, Portsmouth, by the Rev. John McCloud. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
