The Associated Press erroneously reported Oct. 15 that a patient
had a broken bone that went undiagnosed for four weeks at a Durham
nursing home being fined for lax patient care.
The state Department of Human Resources, which provided the
incorrect information, reported Friday that the nursing home did not
