Minnie Lee Boone, 74, of the 1500 block of Wilkins Drive, died Oct. 19, 1996.
A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Addie Britton Earley. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, J.P. Boone; two sons, Johnny Boone and Donald Lee Boone, both of Suffolk; five grandchildren, John Boone, Lee Allen Boone, Barbara Hill, Stacey Germain and Amberly-Ann Megan Boone; and one sister, Barbara Ange of Suffolk.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Lafayette T. Wilkins Jr. Burial will be in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O.
