Louise Maggie Vaughan, 92, of the 2900 block of Beachmont Ave., died Oct. 19, 1996, in her residence.
She was born in Little Washington, N.C., and was a member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church, Chesapeake, the Missionary Society and Deaconess Board.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Bradeley and Anne V. Bunch, both of Norfolk; two sons, Cleveland D. Vaughan Jr. of Norfolk and Clayton Vaughan Sr. of Newport News; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church by Dr. Donald F. Taylor. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pretlow's Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 2921 Beachmont Ave. in Norfolk at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday for the procession to the church. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
