ANNA M. GLOVER

Anna M. Glover, 92, of the 1100 block of South St., died Oct. 18, 1996, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Dillard and Laura Beale, and the widow of Arthur Glover. Mrs. Glover retired from the Franklin City School system, were she taught for 45 years. She was a member of Christian Home Baptist Church and was the church secretary until her health failed her. She was also a member of the National Council of Negro Women and the National Teachers Association.

Survivors include two stepsons, Arthur Glover of Suffolk and Dennis Glover of New York City; a nephew, Carlton Ruffin; two nieces, Elizabeth Vincent and Anna Mason; and 11 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Christian Home Baptist Church, Smithfield, by the Rev. Waller. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Smithfield. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home is in charge.
