SIMON R. MILLER

Simon Richard Miller, 73, of the 200 block of Old Drive, died Oct. 19, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Born in Norfolk, he was a retired real estate manager and developer. Mr. Miller was a member of South Norfolk Masonic Lodge (NU)339, Khedive Temple of the Shrine, V.F.W. Lodge (NU)4809 and Great Bridge Ruritan Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Eugenia Wickens Miller; a son, Douglas Miller of Chesapeake; two sisters, Yetta Furman of Silver Spring, Md., Marilyn Fine of Norfolk; five brothers, Samuel Miller of Virginia, Frank Miller and Junius Miller of Virginia Beach, Calvin Miller and Morris Miller of Norfolk; a grandson, Bryan D. Miller of Chesapeake; and a host of family, friends, business associates and employees of S.R.M. Realty Inc. Co.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, where Masonic rites will be accorded. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
