ROBERT C. LEWIS

Robert Cook Lewis, 88, died Oct. 19, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Lewis was a native of Vineland, N.J. He and his wife had lived in Virginia Beach since 1984. He began his musical teaching career in West Virginia. He retired from the United States Army as a band master and continued his musical career teaching in the school system in Silver Spring, Md. Mr. Lewis was a member of the Rosicrucian Fellowship in Oceanside, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Laurie Lewis of Virginia Beach, and one sister, Mrs. Grace Whyte of Venice, Fla. A private family service will be held. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
