Robert O. ``Bobby'' Cooper Jr., 45, of the 1000 block of Neptune Ave., died Oct. 21, 1996, in his residence.
Born in Norfolk, he was a retired master electrician with 20 years of service. Mr. Cooper attended Kempsville High School, Norfolk Vocational and Technical School. He also was a member of the American Pool Players Association.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Raynor Cooper; a daughter, Ashleigh Raynor Cooper of Virginia Beach; two sons, Robert Oliver Cooper III, and his wife, Sharon, of Hertford, N.C., Brian Ira Cooper, of Virginia Beach; his mother, Judith V. Cooper of Virginia Beach; a sister, Treva M. Cooper of Virginia Beach; a brother, Gary L. Cooper of Craigsville, Va.; a granddaughter, Brittany B. Cooper of Virginia Beach. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Oliver ``Whitey'' Cooper Sr.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor James Womble. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at other times at 3459 Sale Drive, Virginia Beach.
