Doris Brazell Oates, formerly of Norfolk, died Oct. 20, 1996, in an area hospital.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Willie B. Oates; a son, Maurice Brazell; two grandchildren, Derrick and Latisha; her mother, Marion Darden; a sister, Loretta Brazell; three brothers, Walter Brazell, Kevin Darden and Keith Darden.
Funeral services will be held on Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. in Columbus. Sconiers Funeral Home is in charge.
