Lucille W. Means, of the 700 block of Pennsylvania Ave., died Oct. 21, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Abyssinia Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include two daughters, Gwendolyn E. Means and Patricia Pierce, both of Norfolk; three sisters; seven brothers; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Abyssinia Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. Frank Guns. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Thursday and will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday. The family will assemble at noon Friday at the residence for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
