It is unfortunate that a consultant hired by John Warner's campaign staff used poor judgment in altering a photograph as a part of Senator Warner's campaign strategy. I do not know what reaction was expected from this inappropriate tactic.
However, what I find interesting is that Mark Warner considers a photograph of himself shaking hands with former Governor Wilder in the presence of President Clinton a smear on his good name.
