Mr. William Hall Cooke, 73, died Sept. 28, 1996.
He was a member of Sedley Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was the husband of the late Ruth Grant Cooke.
He is survived by a sister, Rebecca Cooke Asbell, Suffolk.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at Rosemont Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. David Johnson. The family will receive friends at Sedley Baptist Church following the service. Memorial donations may be made to Sedley Baptist Church. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is handling the arrangements.
