Mattie Sawyer Casper, 80, of the 3200 block of Knox St., died Oct. 22, 1996.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday in New Berean Baptist Church, Portsmouth. Rogers Funeral Home is in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
