WILLIAM WHITE

William ``Billy'' White, 34, died in Oklahoma City.

Mr. White, a native of Norfolk, was a member of Portsmouth Moose Lodge (NU)898 and a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force during the Persian Gulf War. He was the son of the late Melvin R. White and Mrs. Virginia White Paulk of Parrish, Fla.

Besides his mother, Mr. White is survived by a daughter, Amanda White of Manteo, N.C.; a maternal grandmother, Virginia Midgett of Nags Head, N.C.; and paternal grandmother, Vivian White of Chesapeake.

A graveside service will be held in Manteo Cemetery, Manteo, on Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at 113 Dogwood Circle, Manteo. Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, is in charge.
