Louise Childrey Moody, formerly of Norfolk, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1996, in her Marion, S.C., retirement home.
She was born in Richmond and was the daughter of Samuel Easley and Laurie Newman Moody. She was a member of Larchmont Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Raylen M. Blackburn of Marion; a brother, Raymond Carlton Childrey of Sepulveda, Calif. ; and six grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. John C. Dean. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Cox Funeral Home is in charge.
