Gladys M. Reed, of the 2800 block of Liberia Drive, died Oct. 20, 1996, at her residence. She was born in Scotland Neck, N.C.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Thrasher, Cornelia Goodwyn, Darlene Park; seven sons, Walter Reed, Herbert Reed, Cleveland Reed, Kenneth Reed, Cornell Reed, Tony Reed and David Reed; her mother, Lena Pitt; three sisters, Odell Brown, Delzola Byrd, Yvonne Winborne; 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul COGIC by the Rev. Wilbert Daniels. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
