Anne R. Lechner, 58, of the 4500 block of Bob Jones Drive, died at her home on Oct. 22, 1996.
Mrs. Lechner was a native of Norfolk. She was a past member of the Larks Circle of the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters and is a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, George B. Lechner; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Respess of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Lynne Galal of San Francisco and a son-in-law, Ken Galal, and Jane Sebastian and son-in-law, Wendell Sebastian; and two grandchildren, Patrick and Elizabeth Sebastian of Alexandria; a brother, Robert Respess of Virginia Beach; and by two aunts, Mrs. Retta Quinn and Mrs. Rena Nance of Norfolk.
There will be a memorial service conducted by the Rev. Danny Kesner at St. Andrew's Church, Princess Anne Road and Tucson Drive, Virginia Beach, at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel.
