William A. Hock Jr., 44, died Oct. 24, 1996, in a Richmond hospital.
Born in Union, N.J., he was general manager of Guy Smith Heating and Cooling Co. for two years. Mr. Hock was a member of Parkway Temple.
Survivors include his life's partner, Anita Meserole of Virginia Beach; his mother and stepfather, Marguerite and John Killian of Spring Lake, N.J.; two brothers, David Hock of New Jersey, Peter Hock and his wife, Barbara of Florida; a niece, Amanda and a nephew, Kevin.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Medical College of Virginia, Richmond.
