Arthur Albon Chappelle, 68, died Oct. 24, 1996, at his residence.
Born in Maryland, he was a retired truck mechanic for Norfolk Beverage Co. Inc. Mr. Chappelle was Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Leta Marie Chappelle; four daughters, Brenda Mosley, Lori Hopper, both of Moyock, N.C., Sharon Shout of Poskey, Mich., Pamela Barber of High Point, N.C.; four sons, Stanley Chappelle and David Chappelle, both of Moyock, Stevie Chappelle and Robert Reed, both of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel.
