A 26-year-old man was critically injured when he was thrown from his truck Wednesday night.

Police said Phillip A. Campbell ran a red light at Independence Boulevard and Witchduck Road about 8:30 p.m.

Police said Campbell's 1993 pickup truck was southbound on Independence when it hit a 1989 pickup truck making a left turn.

Campbell's truck rolled over twice, throwing Campbell, who lives in the 400 block of Putnam Road in Pembroke. The other driver was not hurt.
