William ``Bill'' Fisher, 84, of the 37000 block of Broadwater Road, died Oct. 24, 1996, in Obici Hospital.
A retired farmer, Mr. Fisher was a native of Southampton County, Va., and was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church, Ivor. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Fisher.
Survivors include his son, Decater Fisher and wife, Marvin; three daughters and sons-in-law, Eva Holloman and Thurman Holloman, Laura Edwards and Elias Edwards and Louise Haskins and James Haskins, all of Ivor; and 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in New Branch Baptist Church, Ivor, by the Rev. Larry Simmons. Burial will be in Copper Hunt, Ivor. Viewing will start today at noon in Applewhite Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church Sunday at noon and the family will assemble for a procession Sunday.
