The newly expanded Lifestyle Health and Fitness Center of
Chesapeake General Hospital will have an open house today from 9
a.m. to noon and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Due to an editing error,
the Saturday hours were incorrect in a BusinessNews story Friday.
The center is at 800 N. Battlefield Blvd., next to Chesapeake
General Hospital.
The Suffolk School Board's proposed building plan includes
opening a new elementary school by 1998 in the southern part of the
city, not the northern. A story in Friday's MetroNews section
contained an error.
A listing of Halloween activities, in midweek community news
sections, did not include ``Spooky Acres'' in Suffolk. At 6019
Godwin Blvd., it will be open from 7 to 10 p.m. today and on
Halloween. The cost is $4 to visit a haunted house, $3 for a
hayride. by CNB
