Mildred Byrum Williams, 68, of 2440 N.C. 305, died Oct. 25, 1996, in her home.
A seamstress for Jernigan's Cleaners, Mrs. Williams was the widow of James Willard Williams and a member of Connaritsa Baptist Church, RFD, Aulander.
Survivors include daughters, Anita Grady of Greenville, Joanne Watson of Murfreesboro and Kathy Ward of Laurel Hill; sons, James Williams of Oxford and Roy Williams of Ahoskie; a sister, Jessie Cobb of Windsor; a brother, Buck Byrum of Murfreesboro; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Connaritsa Baptist Church, Aulander, by the Rev. Alan Mizelle and the Rev. Robert White. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor. Garrett Funeral Home is in charge. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
