A 36-year-old woman who was stabbed during an altercation Saturday afternoon died Saturday night at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Police said Patricia Ball of the 700 block of B Ave. was found outside a residence in the 1500 block of Washington Ave. about 5:30 p.m. She died about 9 p.m.
A suspect was in police custody and being questioned late Saturday, but had not been charged. The name of the suspect was not released.
