Edward D. Mizelle, 68, died Friday, Oct. 25, 1996, at his home.
Born in Beaufort County, N.C., he was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. Prior to retiring, he was a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Jackson Mizelle; a son, Glysal D. Mizelle and his wife, Karla, of Chesapeake; three daughters, Patricia A. Mizelle, Teresa K. Mizelle and Debra M. Harris and her husband, Charles, also of Chesapeake; five sisters, Rachel Harrison, Mildred Little, Faye Corey and Zylphia Bondeson of North Carolina and Isabel Thompson of Newport News; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Terry Beck. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
