Addie W. West of the 500 block of Nicholson St. died Oct. 23, 1996, in her home.
A retired domestic employee, she was a native of Franklin County, N.C., and the widow of Johnnie West. Mrs. West was also a Baptist.
Survivors include grandchildren Henry West Jr. and Cecelia West, both of Norfolk; a granddaughter-in-law, Brenda West of Norfolk; a niece, Mae Koontz of Greensboro, N.C.; and several great-nieces and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Graves Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Rudolph Perry. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence.
