Nancy Edgar Kight, a resident of Westminster Canterbury, died Saturday Oct. 26, 1996.
She was the widow of Dr. John Randolph Kight of Norfolk. Born Feb. 4, 1917, in Hillsboro, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late George Pearis and Laura Callison Edgar. She was a graduate of West Virginia University and The University of Virginia School of Nursing. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk, The National Society of Colonial Dames of America, The Junior League of Norfolk and Virginia Beach and The Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Edgar Kight; a son, John Randolph Kight, Jr. both of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, John Randolph Kight III and David Chancellor Kight of Richmond; and a sister, Martha Ann Townsend of Chillicothe, Ohio.
A graveside service will be conducted at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday by Dr. J. Shepherd Russell. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
