A 35-year-old man who was found shot to death early Saturday was identified by police on Sunday as David Semko of the 9500 block of 26th Bay St.
Police said events leading to his death remain unclear, but that he was shot about 1:20 a.m. just after he left an apartment. Witnesses said Semko got into a confrontation with his assailant moments before the shooting. He died at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital a short time later.
