Dewey Talton, 82, a retired bus driver formerly of Norfolk, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996.
Surviving are four daughters, Peggy Nichols of Garner, Alice Faye Combs of Pittsboro, Dorothy Brantley of Whitakers and Kay Scites of Chesapeake; a son, Donald Talton of Pikeville; a sister, Louetta Jones of Goldsboro; two brothers, Leo Talton of Fremont and Norwood Talton of Garner; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Monday at 3:30 p.m. in Shackleford Funeral Chapel. Interment was in Pikeville Cemetery.
