Mrs. Evelyn Virginia Trefny, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 1996, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
Mrs. Trefny was a resident of Ayden for 17 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Greenville.
Mrs. Trefny is survived by her husband, Frank Trefny of the home; two sons, Dr. Frank A. Trefny of Kings-tree, S.C., and James Trefny of Chesapeake; a daughter, Patricia Dix of Greenville; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation and a rosary service were Monday at Farmer Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Greenville. Burial will be at Pinewood Memorial Park, Greenville.
