Tassie M. Brady, 72, of the 2200 block of Gum Road, died Oct. 26, 1996, in Maryview Hospital.
She was a lifetime resident of Chesapeake and was the widow of Herbert J. Brady Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Lynn Taylor of Chesapeake; two sons, Herbert J. Brady Jr. of Portsmouth and William L. Brady of Ahoskie, N.C. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held in Jolliff Methodist Church, Jolliff Road, Chesapeake, at 7 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in her name. The family will be at 23 Warren Drive, Portsmouth, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
