A 91-year-old motorist apparently died of a heart attack Monday and caused a crash on Witchduck Road just before rush hour, police said.
Police said Lewis F. Lawrence of the 3700 block of Edenberry Court was driving a car that collided with another car near Witchduck Road and Virginia Beach Boulevard just before 8 a.m.
Police said Lawrence apparently suffered a heart attack before the collision. A woman in a second car involved in the crash was slightly hurt. She was treated at a local hospital and released.
